Trephine blades for donor & recipient

Consistent results

Two types of donor trephines are available; with vacuum, or without vacuum. This provides flexibility of use where the Surgeon is not concerned about the vacuum when cutting the cornea from the donor. The Radial Vacuum trephines (for recipient) is a complete system and is the trephine of choice by Surgeons who require a stable and controlled cut, every time.

Vacuum & Non-Vacuum Trephine Punches

For donor

Vacuum and Non-Vacuum Trephine Punches are available as a complete system with blades ranging from 6mm to 9.5mm in diameter, in 0.25mm increments. Non-Vacuum Trephine Punches are designed with four posts, to ensure proper alignment between the punch base and the trephine blade holder, ensuring a perfect cut, every time.

Radial Vacuum Trephines

For recipient

The Radial Vacuum Trephine is a complete vacuum trephine system, with 16 vacuum chambers to provide stability for a clean and precise cut. The recipient trephines range from 6mm to 9mm diameter in size and are supplied sterile and individually packaged.

Long Trephines for donor or recipient

Compatible with most punch systems

Long Trephine Blades can be used by hand to cut the cornea of the recipient or with a hand piece as a punch to cut the cornea from the donor. Tecfen long trephines are compatible with most punch systems. They deliver consistent results and range from 2.5mm to 18mm in diameter, with the larger trephines suitable for eye bank sizes.
